In connection with the proposed amalgamation of the Aberdeen Combworks Company, Limited, and the Scottish Comb Company, Limited, it is understood that the former company offer to take over the liabilities of the Scottish Comb Company, and to pay the bulk of the purchase price of the business in shares of the Aberdeen Combworks Gumpany, Limited. The local shareholders of the Scottish Comb Company are, it is believed, inclined to favourably regard the offer; but, as already indicated in the “Journal,” a committee of shareholders has been appointed to act with the Directors in considering the heads of agreement.
