Julia, daughter of John Stewart was born on 21th October 1833. She married Paul Gerhard Oncken and they had a daughter, Julia Stewart Oncken on the 1st January 1865, but sadly she died on 24th October 1869 aged 4. Julia herself died on 6th July 1877 aged 43. A memorial tablet was placed on the grave by her brother Sir David stewart, to mark where Julia and her daughter were both buried.
