Old comb works may get facelift
A facelift for the former Aberdeen comb works in Hutcheon Street was outlined today to the city planning committee by applicants proposing complete restoration work similar to that carried out at London’s Covent Garden.
Once completed the refurbished property at 34-40 Hutcheon Street, covering 1.2 acres, would be known as The Duncan Centre, say the applicants, Tyseal Ltd.
They propose to use it partly to provide electronics and computer servicing workshops and some additional showroom and office accommodation.
